This library project was built around the principles of Passive House, well insulated air tight construction as well as a MVHR system to both heat and ventilate the building. the building is supported with a timber frame and a lift and fire escape concrete core.

I have made use of an existing well on the site to integrate a water source heat pump for the heating system with underfloor heating. There is a living wall within the site, being biodiversity to the landscape and a nice environment to be in (click on image to view larger)
